The Permaworld Foundation 2002

The Permaworld Foundation was registered as a not-for-profit organization in 2002 and began an online fundraising program for environmental organizations from Nelson, BC, Canada. Over 140,000 members joined Permaworld and donations were sent to organizations including Permaculture International, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Trees for the Future and the Amazon International Rainforest Reserve. Permaworld also offered exchange services for E-Gold, where physical gold, held in mints, was transacted online, as increments of gold between users. An E-gold > Fiat Money > E-Gold exchange service plus a Permaworld branded ATM debit card was launched to help people manage their e-gold more effectively.

PermaHOST Web Hosting and Domain Registration

Many members in need of internet services and wanting to create online businesses, Permaworld launched the PermaHOST web hosting, website design and domain registration services.

Permaworld has transitioned over the years away from internet business into assisting people with mental, emotional and physical health challenges.

Permaworld Retreats, Thailand & Gold Coast

From 2017, plans were underway to open a health retreat in Phuket, Thailand. As covid restrictions started, the opening date for the retreat in 2020 was put on hold.

An idea grew to open a smaller, more intimate retreat at Bonogin on the Gold Coast, Australia. This is the Permaworld Retreat.

A Permaworld online health and lifestyle program is in the works……
