Permaworld Foundation

Born as a purpose-driven, not-for-profit initiative in Nelson, BC,Canada, the Permaworld Foundation launched an ambitious global environmental fundraising program. Over 140,000 members joined in, united by one powerful mission: to support permaculture projects and eco-warriors on the front lines of environmental change, while rewarding the supporters who helped make it all happen. A true win-win for People and Planet and it worked.

Thousands of dollars flowed into grassroots action, teaching permaculture, regenerating land, planting trees and helping to protect whales. While empowering communities with real, practical tools for sustainable living, the foundation also funded the purchase of 1000 acres in the amazon jungle saving it from logging. Along the way, supporters didn’t just feel good, they benefited financially from the structure of the foundation’s program.

Today, Permaworld shares a simple idea: learn it, live it, pass it on.
