The Permaworld Retreat

The Permaworld Retreat is a quiet, private and peaceful oasis, surrounded by bushland and nestled on 1.5 acres at Bonogin, west of Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Tools of Change Workshop

Join in the Weekend Workshop at the retreat. It is an interactive, hands-on lifestyle program based on the Tools of Change principles and tools. NOTE: Weekend Workshop temporarity on hold due to Hiking Trip

Attend the workshop daily 

If you like to participate in the workshop on Saturday and Sunday, simply arrive each day before 9am. Enjoy the workshop, morning and afternoon tea breaks and a gourmet buffet lunch and finish the day at 5pm.

Stay Friday and/or Saturday night

You can arrive on Friday afternoon and leave Sunday afternoon completing the workshop and staying both Friday and Saturday nights.

Alternatively, arrive before 9am on Saturday, join in the workshop, stay Saturday night and enjoy the Sunday session before leaving on Sunday afternoon.

Delicious Meals and Snacks

During the workshop we break for morning tea, a nutritious, healthy lunch and afternoon tea. If you are staying at the retreat, breakfast and dinner treats await. We also incorporate hands on, ‘learn-by-doing’ in the kitchen where, if you choose, you can explore many new simple food preparation ideas.

Surrounded by Birdlife and Nature

From daybreak and throughout the day you can interact with Rainbow Lorikeets, King Parrots, Cockatoos and Kookaburras who congregate on the verandah for some snacks, hand feeding and playtime. Wallabies and the occasional koala visit as well.

A Personalised Reset and Action Plan

Join in the fun and experience the tools of change workshop. We’d love for you to leave armed with an action plan of new, practical, health and life strategies, together with a feeling of lightness, joy and peaceful wellbeing.

Accomodation

There are two bedrooms available at the Retreat. Both bedrooms are cozy, with a pleasant, peaceful and relaxed ambience. One bedroom is slightly smaller than the other.

All linens and towels are supplied.

For those staying at the Retreat, there are two bedrooms available. Each offers a tranquil and quiet space for you to enjoy.

Dinner & Breakfast

If you are staying at the retreat you will enjoy the tasty and nutritious plant based breakfasts and dinners.

Food and Drinks

All workshop attendees receive morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on Saturday and Sunday. Fresh squeezed fruit / vegetable juices or herbal teas.

There is ample parking for your vehicle at the Retreat and the location is easy to find via Google or Apple maps on your phone.

Natural setting

The pool area and grounds are landscaped with a vast array of trees and shrubs for a beautiful natural setting.

Balinese Influences

The retreats decor is influenced with many imported Indonesian artifacts and furnishings, including large stone carvings in the garden and by the pool

Pool Activities

Relax in a hammock by the pool or take a dip between sessions or after lunch. Needing time out from the workshop. Just take time to relax by the pool or anywhere else instead.

Interact in our daily talks related to all subject matter. Get tips and new tools for your ongoing healthy lifestyle.

Exercise and Movement

Engage in a variety of light exercises, including the 5 Tibetan Rites, rebounder class and other forms of movement for gentle lymph activation you can incorporate at your home.
