The Permaworld Foundation
In 1997 prior to Permaworld, the HEALTHelp.org (.com) Health Education And Lifestyle Training program was launched. In 2001, HEALTHelp transitioned into the Permaworld Foundation and launched an innovative internet based fundraising program in December of that year. Funds were initially raised for Permaculture organizations. Soon after, other environmental organizations were supported. The Permaworld Foundation officially registered as a not-for-profit organization at Nelson, BC, Canada in 2002.

140,000+ member organization

Over 140,000+ members from around the world joined in the fundraising and Permaworld donated as much as US$12,000 per month to organizations such as Permaculture International, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Trees for the Future and the Amazon International Rainforest Reserve. See donations.

E-Gold Exchange Service

Permaworld became involved with E-Gold, a digital currency and a precursor to Bitcoin. Physical gold was held in mints and users transacted increments of gold online. The Permaworld branded ATM Debit Card helped people manage their E-Gold transactions online more effectively.

Fundraising and Business Software Development

B.E.A.R (Business Enterprise Automation and Replication) was a software application used for fundraising and other business applications that was developed and launched by Permaworld.

PermaHOST Web Hosting and Domain Registration

Permaworld’s PermaHOST web hosting, website design and domain registration services opened in 2004, offering free website hosting and website design services for environmental organizations.

The PermaSHARE Program

A new innovative fundraising program called PermaSHARE was in development where dehydrated fruit bars, with the equivalent of one apple in each bar, were to be donated to NGO’s for distribution, using Permaworld’s fundraising program. Due to internal and external challenges, the PermaSHARE program did not launch and the Permaworld membership program finished.

Permaworld Retreat

After being dormant for many years, Permaworld is up and running again offering health education and lifestyle training programs. The Permaworld Retreat was opened on the Gold Coast, Australia and the Tools of Change workshop as well as the 21 Days of Change programs were created.

NEW Permaworld Membership Program

A new membership program with many enhancements to the original Permaworld program is in the works and will launch in the near future.
